You can place 1o shop in your Wordpress content in several ways


Embed a 1o Shop (native unit) into a Wordpress Post

Embedding a 1o Shop into your content is as easy as embedding a Youtube video. Simply insert the code and your 1o Shop will appear in your content. Here’s how:

  1. Log in to your Wordpress Admin Dashboard.
  2. Select Posts in the left hand menu.
  3. Select Add New to create a new post or select and edit an existing post from the All Posts list.
  4. If you are using Block Editor, select the “+” icon where you would like to place your 1o Shop within your content.
  5. Select the [ / ] Short Code option or the Custom HTML option from the Block Shortcut dropdown. If the option isn’t there, click search for Short Code or click the Browse All button. The Blocks menu will open on the left. Search for Short Code or Custom HTML or simply scroll down do WIDGETS section.
  6. Paste the embed code in the input field.
  7. Click Preview, Save draft or Publish.
  8. And you’re done! Check out your 1o Shop on your site to make sure it’s working properly.

Adding a 1o Shop to an image is as simple as adding or inserting a URL link to an image in your post. To be able to display a 1o Shop, you will first need to have to installed the 1o.js script tag on your Wordpress site. Learn more HERE.

  4. If you are using Block Editor, select the “+” icon where you would like to place your 1o Shop within your content.
  5. Select Image from the Block Shortcut dropdown. If the option isn’t there use search field or click the Browse All button. The Blocks menu will open on the left. Search for “Image” or simply scroll down to MEDIA section and click Image.
  6. Click the Upload button and choose the image you want to upload. The image will appear in your post.
  7. Link your 1o Shop URL to the image by clicking on the Insert link icon in the editor and pasting the URL in the input field. Press enter.
  8. Click Preview, Save draft or Publish.
  9. And you’re done! Check out your 1o Shop on your site to make sure it’s working properly.

Create a Buy Now button

Create your own Buy Now button that opens a 1o Shop when clicked within your Wordpress post. You can use this option, for example, if you would like to use a clean product image that doesn’t have any call to action or copy. To be able to display a 1o Shop, you will first need to have to installed the 1o.js script tag on your Wordpress site. Learn more HERE.

  1. Log in to your Wordpress Admin Dashboard.
  2. Select Posts in the left hand menu.
  3. Select Add New to create a new post or select and edit an existing post from the All Posts list.
  4. Add an image (optional):
    • If you are using Block Editor, select the “+” icon where you would like to insert an image.
    • Select Image from the Block Shortcut dropdown. If the option isn’t there use search field or click the Browse All button. The Blocks menu will open on the left hand side. Search for “Image” or simply scroll down to MEDIA section and click Image.
    • Click the Upload button and choose the image you want to upload. The image will appear in your post.
  5. Add a button:
    • If you are using Block Editor, select a “+” icon where you would like to insert a button.
    • Select Buttons from the Block Shortcut dropdown. If the option isn’t there use search or click the Browse All button. The Blocks menu will open on the left hand side. Search for “Buttons” or simply scroll down to DESIGN section and click Buttons.
    • Write the call to action text that will be contained within the button. We like “Buy Now,” or “Order Now” but the choice is yours.
    • Edit your button, font style, size, color, alignment etc., so it fits the design of your page.
    • Link your 1o Shop URL to the image by clicking on the Insert link icon in the editor and pasting the URL in the input field. Press enter.
  6. Click Preview, Save draft or Publish.
  7. And you’re done! Check out your 1o Shop on your site to make sure it’s working properly.
